2025 NW200 Launch To Be Streamed Live On BBC Sport

The 2025 North West 200 international road race launch will be broadcast live on the BBC Sport website. Scheduled for Tuesday, 25 February at 19:00 GMT, the event will be held at BBC's Blackstaff Studios in Belfast.

The launch is set to draw an impressive array of the sport’s most celebrated figures. Multiple Isle of Man TT winners, Davey Todd and Dean Harrison, are expected to feature alongside road racing legends John McGuinness and Michael Rutter. Fan favourites including Jeremy McWilliams, Michael Sweeney, Conor Cummins and Jamie Coward will also be present, with the latter group preparing to race on the closed public roads in May.

Additionally, the event will mark the appearance of Glenn Irwin, who retired after a record-setting performance at the 2024 event, and NW200 record holder Alastair Seeley.

The launch, presented before a live studio audience, will see BBC Sport NI's Stephen Watson engaging directly with the riders on stage. The North West 200 itself will take place from 7-10 May on the north coast of Northern Ireland, with competitors reaching speeds in excess of 200mph around the 8.9-mile Triangle Circuit that links Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush.
