Abbey Autoline Acquires Coleraine-Based Insurance Brokers

AbbeyAutoline, Northern Ireland’s largest insurance broker, has confirmed the acquisition of the customer book of business from Wallace Insurance Brokers, based in Coleraine.

This deal marks AbbeyAutoline’s third acquisition in 2024, following its earlier purchases of Martin Carey Insurance in Lisnaskea and Down Insurances in Downpatrick.

The acquisition aligns with AbbeyAutoline’s ambitious growth strategy, aimed at expanding its reach and enhancing commercial insurance services across Northern Ireland.

Wallace Insurance Brokers, a family-owned business established in 1960 and based in Coleraine, has built a strong reputation for delivering tailored insurance solutions, particularly in the Construction and Commercial sectors.

As part of the agreement, Peter Wallace, Principal of Wallace Insurance Brokers, will work alongside AbbeyAutoline to ensure a seamless transition for both clients and staff joining the AbbeyAutoline team.
