Approval Given for Transformation of Kilrea Butcher Shop into Dental Surgery

Approval has been granted for the change of use of J. Paul & Son Butchers in Kilrea into a dental surgery.

The project involves integrating the ground floor former butchers with the pre-existing Kilrea Dental Surgery on the first floor.

McGurk Architects submitted the plans, which encompass modifications to the interior and exterior, replacement of current business signage, and enhancements to the street front.

According to the Design and Access Statement, the building is currently subdivided into two separate units and “the proposal unifies the building by linking the ground floor to the first floor stairs via a new entrance lobby”.
