Armoy Road Races Confirmed to Take Place in 2023

The Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club has confirmed that the Race of Legends Armoy Road Races will take place on Friday and Saturday, 28th and 29th July 2023. Chairman William Munnis made the announcement on behalf of the Directors of the Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club.

The decision to run the race in 2023 was made after carefully considering the insurance costs and other associated information. The club has assured that they will be adhering to caution throughout the event to ensure that the well-run and high-profile road race that the Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club is known for will be delivered while meeting the needs of the event.

The insurance costs for the race amount to £30K, which is extensive, and many other costs have also risen. Despite this, the club expressed their gratitude to the MCUI for their hard work in achieving a working solution to these insurance issues. They also thanked the local community, residents, sponsors, riders, and the wider road racing community for their support and encouragement throughout the challenging period.

The Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club will launch support packages for the race, and more information will be available on its website and social media platforms. The detailed planning of the road race will commence soon, and the club looks forward to delivering another successful event at the end of July.
