Ballymoney Craft Bakery Sets Eyes On Expansion Of Sourdough Pizza & Bread Ranges

Some of the best sourdough pizza & bread you've ever tasted is available in Ballymoney.

With a passion for creating, and great customer service, Jonny, a self-taught bread maker has invested the past 7 years in crafting the best Sourdough Pizza & Bread possible.

The Pizza: The freshly stone-baked to order pizza is available from 4pm on Friday & Saturday evenings. Last orders taken at 8.30pm. The dough contains only three ingredients. Flour, water, and salt. It also spends over 100 hours rising, and proving to develop maximum flavour for you to enjoy.

An 18inch Pizzasaurus pizza is included on the menu. It needs to be tried for sure! This pizza brings you a light texture, pleasant, to eat, and a lovely, deep flavour that will linger on the palate. You'll not be disappointed.

The Sourdough Loaves: Same as before, the loaves contain only flour, water, and salt. They are on the rack at 1pm on Friday afternoons (alongside hand-rolled bagels). Plans are in place to expand on the bread types offered such as soda farls, pancakes, focaccia, and some nice seeded bread too.

The Sourdough Starter that is central to the products made here is kept and maintained in-house. The starter itself requires daily feeding to keep it in top condition.

One more thing, the Dough House brownies are so irresistible. So fudgy and smooth. A rich, chocolate overload can be expected.

Dough House has exciting plans for the near future, and is still on the look out for a new, town centre location. For now, it's currently operating and serving you from its original location at Unit 24 in the Acorn Business Centre. Pizza, fresh bread, and brownies?
