Meanwhile, the Safehouse Café Bar, situated in the erstwhile banking hall, promises patrons artisanal pizzas, exquisite coffee, and an exceptional mixology menu highlighting local ingredients.

In 2018, the Belfast-based hotel magnate expressed his enthusiasm about rejuvenating the erstwhile bank edifice, pledging to preserve its architectural appeal and integrity.

Historically, this iconic structure functioned as a Belfast Bank branch in the bustling Victorian holiday destination of Portrush. Crafted by the eminent architect, Vincent Craig, this architectural gem started receiving visitors in 1898.
