Bushmills Building Revival Set To Boost Visitor Accommodation

Planning permission has been granted to convert a derelict listed building in the centre of Bushmills.

The project, led by Stephen and Sharon McKillop, aims to transform the upper floors of 65 Main Street into three self-catering studio apartments while retaining the ground-floor retail space.

The property, a two-storey structure that has stood empty for an extended period, occupies a prime spot in the town’s Market Square.

The renovation is expected to address the rising demand for short-term visitor accommodation, with Bushmills welcoming many tourists to nearby attractions such as the Giant’s Causeway and the historic Old Bushmills Distillery.
