Castlerock's Former Ballyhacket School to Become Health & Wellness Centre

Planning permission has been granted to convert the former Ballyhacket Primary School on Altikeeragh Road into a health and wellness centre. Jora Properties submitted the application last year, which was granted today, Friday, 21st March, 2025.
The development will provide a centre for health and wellbeing, complete with ancillary and complementary facilities, as well as necessary external works.
Ballyhacket Primary School closed its doors in 2021 following a decline in pupil numbers, and the new project aims to make productive use of the existing site while addressing current community needs.
