Councillors Approve Major Housing Development For Coleraine

Councillors on the planning committee have this afternoon approved a significant new housing development on a site west of Burn Road in Coleraine.

After careful consideration, the project, which will include 82 residential units, has been given the go-ahead.

Notably, the development will incorporate 16 social housing units, providing essential affordable housing for the area.

The approved plans also feature an internal road network, public open spaces, landscaped areas, and ample parking. The site is bordered by Ballygallin Park, St. Andrew's Church of Ireland, Hazeldene Drive, and Mulberry Gardens.

Works are expected to start before the end of the year.
