Councillors Approve New Leisure Facilities For Ballycastle
Aug 28, 2024Councillors on the planning committee have today GRANTED permission for an ambitious new development at Quay Road sports grounds in Ballycastle.
This decision paves the way for a significant transformation that will bring a range of modern leisure facilities to the local area.
The development's centrepiece is a state-of-the-art leisure centre, which will include a swimming pool, a cutting-edge gym, and versatile studios for a variety of fitness classes. These new amenities are designed to cater to people of all ages and fitness levels, considerably boosting the recreational opportunities available to residents.
The plans include indoor facilities and the creation of an accessible play park, ensuring children of all abilities can enjoy outdoor play. A BMX pump track is also part of the project, providing an exciting attraction for cycling enthusiasts and thrill-seekers.
