Daisy Mae Boutique's Marianne Blaney Takes Top Fashion Honour at Europa Hotel

The illustrious Europa Hotel hosted a dazzling Sunday afternoon tea as 540 people gathered for the Local Women Magazine Inspirational Awards. Among the night's shining stars was Marianne, the dynamic owner of Daisy Mae Boutique, who took home the prestigious Inspiring Woman in Fashion award.

Marianne's victory was no surprise to those familiar with her innovative approach to fashion. The judges’ unanimous decision highlighted Daisy Mae Boutique's transformative influence on the North Coast fashion scene. Over the past nine years, Marianne and her team have consistently pushed the boundaries, offering unique and quirky styles that set them apart in a competitive industry.

"Our goal has always been to provide something distinct," Marianne shared. "From the moment we opened, we wanted to stand out, to be different from everyone else. Winning this award is a testament to our commitment to that vision."

The event, organised by Local Women Magazine, celebrated inspirational women across various fields, recognising their achievements and contributions. Marianne's recognition underscores her role in revolutionising local fashion and celebrates her perseverance and creativity.

In addition to her win, Marianne was a finalist for the overall Inspiring Woman 2024 award, further cementing her status as a trailblazer in the industry. Her boutique, Daisy Mae, continues to draw fashion enthusiasts from all over, eager to experience the fresh, boundary-pushing styles that have become its hallmark.

"In 2015, I envisioned bringing a different fashion concept and breaking mainstream boundaries. After 9 years of pushing the limits in Northern Ireland's fashion industry, I'm over the moon to be awarded ‘Most Inspirational Woman in Fashion’ at the Local Woman Awards!
