Enchanting Evening Ramble: Discover Spring's Wonders at Causeway Cliffs

On April 5th, 2024, from 18:30 to 20:30, Dr. Cliff Henry, a passionate Nature Engagement Officer, invites nature lovers to a captivating spring sunset ramble along the stunning Causeway cliffs. This essential-booking event promises an intimate exploration of nature's wonders.

The adventure begins with the enchanting sight of fulmars returning to their nests and the melodic farewell songs of skylarks. As the ramble continues, participants will be greeted by the vibrant yellow of blooming gorse, filling the air with a sweet coconut scent, and the sight of early wildflowers along the Shepherd’s Steps into Port Noffer.

The journey's pinnacle is the breathtaking sunset over Donegal, with the sun's golden rays reflecting off the sea against the backdrop of the iconic Causeway stones. The evening concludes with an intriguing bat-detecting activity on the return to the Visitor Centre via the Blue Trail.
