From Small Beginnings to Sustainable Success: The Journey of Considered Co

In 2019, Marc and Emily Williamson embarked on a journey to live more sustainably. Their passion for eco-conscious living grew, and they were eager to share their knowledge and experiences.

Their lifestyle intrigued People around them, which inspired them to create something bigger. So, in March 2023, they launched Considered Co, a zero waste and refill store, to share their love for sustainability with the world.

Considered Co is more than just a store—it's a hub for sustainable living. The store offers a wide range of eco-friendly products to make conscious living attainable and beautiful.

Their carefully curated products promote sustainability and help reduce environmental footprints. The store boasts a large selection of refillable food items, including pasta, peanut butter, and olive oil, as well as household cleaners such as laundry detergent and natural bleach.

Customers can also purchase natural beauty items and plastic-free household essentials. In March 2024, Marc and Emily launched a Kickstarter campaign to help relocate their store.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, they needed to move but lacked the financial resources to do so independently.

They turned to their valued supporters and customers, aiming to raise £9,000. The campaign ran for 30 days, during which they encouraged supporters to pledge, share their social media posts, and spread the word about their effort.

The campaign was featured twice in the Belfast Telegraph. In the first week, backers pledged £4,271, and by the end of the Kickstarter, 116 people had contributed.

After extensive renovation work, they opened in their new location on Stone Row on Friday 28th June. The new store has been a resounding success so far, and Marc and Emily are incredibly thankful for the support of their backers.

Their contributions have allowed them to continue sharing their lifestyle and passion for Considered Co with the community on the North Coast.
