Heartwarming Family Fun Day and Tractor Run for Isla Gault

Roadside (Garages) Coleraine is set to host a touching and community-driven event in support of a beloved colleague and her family.

On Sunday, June 16th, from 1 pm to 5 pm, Roadside’s premises will be the hub of a Family Fun Day and Tractor Run to aid Marketing colleague Hilary Gault, whose 9-year-old daughter Isla is bravely battling a brain tumour.

Known for their community spirit, Roadside Coleraine has a history of giving back through various initiatives.

This year, the team has also committed to the MacMillan Cancer Mighty Hike on June 22nd. The upcoming event, organised in collaboration with Damhead Primary School, where Isla is a cherished student, and Dominican College, where her father teaches, aims to support the Gault family and raise essential funds for MacMillan Cancer and Young Lives vs Cancer.

The event’s highlight will be a tractor run along the famous NW200 route, starting from Roadside Garages at 1 pm. After the tractor parade, attendees can enjoy a day filled with activities at the garage premises.

The fun includes bouncy castles, face painting, balloon animals, and live performances by magician Rodd Hogg, Irish dancers, Damhead School Choir, and Sika Gymnastics.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have Jonny McKee from our After Sales Team, who serves as the current Club Leader at Coleraine Young Farmers. His support has been instrumental in rallying assistance across Northern Ireland,” remarked Ian Lamont of Roadside Coleraine.

Tractors can register on the day from 12 noon, with a fee of £25 per tractor, which includes a tasty burger.

Entry to the showroom for the public is free, encouraging everyone to come and join in the fun.

The Gault family has shown remarkable resilience in these challenging times. Roadside Coleraine believes that community solidarity can make a positive impact, not only in their lives but also in the lives of others facing similar challenges.
