Historic McLaughlin's Corner Set for Transformation

Causeway Coast & Glens Council Planners have approved the construction of a portal frame car cleaning garage and partially converting the ground-floor bar and restaurant at 60 Bann Road into office space.
The premises, formerly known as McLaughlin's Corner, held a special place in the hearts of the Rasharkin community.
McLaughlin's Corner, a cherished former bar and restaurant, has been a local landmark since the 1890s. Known for its hearty portions and traditional cooking, it attracted visitors from far and wide and became a hub of rural life.
The new plans mark a notable shift for the historic site, blending its storied past with a new future.
