Lidl weighing option of Ballycastle as potential store location

Explore Causeway Coast & Glens understands that German discount retailer LIDL is weighing up location options within Ballycastle, including Glenshesk Road, as part of its plan to expand its network to 50 locations in the area by 2030 as part of its long-term vision.

In a statement to Explore Causeway Coast & Glens this morning, a Lidl Northern Ireland spokesperson said:

 “Lidl Northern Ireland is working to deliver on its long-term strategic vision to expand its store network to 50 stores across the region by 2030. As part of this ambitious expansion programme, we are actively seeking new sites across various locations throughout Northern Ireland, which we continue to assess on a case-by-case basis, including within Ballycastle. We remain committed to delivering on our overarching strategic plan to revitalise and expand our existing store network and to providing updates on our progress when in a position to do so.”
