Limavady Showgrounds could be set for artificial 4G pitch upgrade

Plans have been submitted to Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council for the proposed removal of the existing grass pitch at The Showgrounds in Limavady and replacement with a slightly "longer artificial 4G pitch, in-situ".
Plans also reveal that the existing blockwork safety wall and the concrete path will be extended to enclose the new pitch.
The application will go before Council's planning committee in the coming months.
The applicant is Limavady United Athletic Football Club.
