Limavady United FC Secures Approval for New 4G Pitch Upgrade

A planning application to upgrade Limavady United Athletic Football Club's pitch has been approved. The club will remove the existing grass surface and install a slightly longer, artificial 4G pitch in its place.
Alongside the pitch upgrade, the blockwork safety wall and concrete path surrounding the field will be extended to enclose the new facility fully.
The application, granted on 14th October 2024, marks a significant step for the club in modernising its infrastructure.
The new 4G pitch is expected to enhance both playing conditions and accessibility, offering a more durable and weather-resistant surface for training and matches.
