Local Chocolatier Delighted to Attend Royal Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle

A prominent chocolatier from Castlerock expressed her immense honour upon receiving an invitation to the esteemed Royal Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle yesterday.

The event proved even more memorable as Geri Martin had the privilege of meeting and conversing with the distinguished personalities of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

During their interaction, Geri from The Chocolate Manor had the opportunity to discuss their recent chocolate adventure, which earned them recognition as Discover Northern Ireland's #BestFoodandDrinkExperience. 

Geri also shared her immense pride in having crafted nearly 50,000 chocolates for the royal couple's Coronation ceremony.

Accompanied by her mother, the chocolatier cherished the significance of the day. An RAF Cadet graciously guided them throughout the event, ensuring they were well-informed and comfortable throughout the festivities. The day was further enhanced by the presence of Vice Lord Lieutenant Gerry McKenna and his wife Phil, with whom they thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

The Chocolate Manor, representing Castlerock, expressed gratitude for being part of such a remarkable moment.
