New Coffee Shop and Art Hub Set to Revitalise Cushendall's Mill Street

A planning application has been submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Council lodged by North Coffee Ltd, seeking retrospective approval for a change of use from a ground-floor florist shop to a coffee shop. This establishment will also feature an ancillary photography sales area.

The proposed coffee shop, which intriguingly specifies 'no cooking', aims to offer a unique gathering spot for residents and visitors alike. Combining a cosy coffee haven with a photography sales area promises to become a hub of activity and creativity in Cushendall.

A further application has been submitted to erect two shop signs and one projecting double-sided sign. The signage will feature North Coffee, John Healey Photography, and Glens of Antrim Art prominently. The design includes a double-sided sign with concealed LED lighting built into the frame, ensuring visibility and aesthetic appeal day and night.
