New Kids Self Defence Classes

More than ever before, children and young people are recommended to learn self-defence due to its overwhelming list of benefits.
From September 2023, a brand new skill-enhancing club Little Samurai's Self Defence, will welcome a cohort of latest members to join one of its four clubs across Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
With a limited number of 20 per class, registration is bound to fill up fast!
At only £2 per session, no membership fees and free competition entry and martial arts suit it is the perfect introduction into the world of self awareness.
A range of highly qualified instructors aim to bring the following benefits to those attending:

This project is funded through the Central Good Relations Fund and is a 7 month project which comes to an end in March 2023.
With weekly presentations, opportunities to win different achievement badges to sew to your belt, this new and innovative way to engage with children's emotional and behavioural needs is one of a kind within the community and edging for success across the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
From September to March the children and young people will have the opportunity to take park in competitions and also an end of year demonstration to show off the skills they have gained throughout the project.
