A talented fashion designer from the North Coast has earned a coveted spot on this year's Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

Hope Macaulay, aged 27, has garnered recognition for her clothing brand, known for its innovative and uplifting knitwear pieces. Handcrafted by a skilled team of local knitters in Northern Ireland, Macaulay's creations embody mindfulness and positivity.

Originally from Portstewart, Macaulay's entrepreneurial journey has seen remarkable growth over the past six years.

Her designs have caught the attention of renowned figures like Jennifer Hudson and Gigi Hadid, further solidifying her presence in the fashion world. Forbes 30 Under 30 showcases exceptional young talents across various industries, with the European list unveiled on Tuesday.

"In 2018, Hope Macaulay began developing her eponymous brand which now employs 20 knitters across Northern Ireland hand-making cardigans, bags and more in a unique needle-free method.

"While annual revenues stand at about $500,000, Macaulay's creations have been featured on magazine covers and worn by celebrities including Halsey, Jennifer Hudson and Naomi Osaka.

"The items are sold in 80 countries in stores including Anthropologie and Free People."
