Part of Riverside retail park in Coleraine sold to property firm

A section of Riverside retail park in Coleraine has changed hands, now owned by a local property firm, Magmel (Ballymena), following a £10.25m transaction.

The acquired portion, identified as phase one of the development, encompasses three expansive retail units, one of which houses a Sainsbury's supermarket.

Magmel, resulting from a collaboration between the Walker family from Ballymena and Dublin entrepreneur Nick Furlong, also claims ownership of the Fairhill centre in Ballymena.

Previously, the development was under the ownership of British Land, a prominent property company in the UK.
