Plans for Deerstalker Bar Extension Submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Council

Plans for an expansion to the Deerstalker Bar within the Kelly’s Complex have been submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

The proposed extension is set to take place on Bushmills Road, Portrush, and includes various alterations along with the addition of a single-storey conservatory. The project also encompasses the relocation of the main entrance.

Bell Architects, working on behalf of Cloughorr Investments, have submitted the plans. The design includes a roof adorned with black flat tiles and the use of zinc cladding to align with the existing hotel's aesthetics. The planned walls are to be a smooth render, painted with natural stone, complemented by solid timber doors.

The Kelly’s Complex, home to the Deerstalker Public Bar, is a hub for various entertainment venues, bars, and a restaurant.

The Deerstalker Bar is known for its cozy ambiance, highlighted by an open, roaring fire and comfortable seating arrangements. This welcoming space hosts live music events and sport screenings, making it a popular spot within the complex.
