Santa's Magical Express: Codonas Funfairs Brings Christmas Magic to Portrush

Portrush welcomes a delightful new Christmas adventure this festive season as Codonas Funfairs brings their much-loved Santa’s Magical Express to town.

Having enchanted families in Glasgow with this magical experience, Codonas is now set to sprinkle festive cheer across the Causeway Coast for the first time. 

The journey begins at Kiddieland, where families board a whimsical land train that winds through the scenic route of Castle Erin Road, Kerr Street, and the Promenade.

Upon returning to Kiddieland, all children will step into Santa’s grotto for a heartwarming meet-and-greet with the man himself, receiving a special gift to make their visit truly memorable. Babies under one can join the journey for free, although they will not receive a gift.

Tickets and Pricing for a Magical Day Out

Admission for both adults and children is required, with general tickets priced at £12 each, ensuring every child leaves with a special gift from Santa. For bargain hunters, a limited number of general admission tickets will be available on Wowcher and Groupon, priced between £9-£10. Once these discounted tickets are gone, they’re gone for good, so be sure to act quickly.

Dates and Timings for Santa’s Express

Santa’s Magical Express will operate on the following dates: November 30th, December 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. The festive train departs every half hour, with the first train leaving at 10 am and the last train at 5 pm. On Christmas Eve, the final train will run at 3 pm to give Santa time for his final Christmas preparations.
