Starter Hut Approved for Portstewart Golf Club

Planning permission has been granted for a new starter hut at Portstewart Golf Club, set to enhance the club’s facilities. According to the design and access statement, the proposed hut will stand at 3.7 metres and feature a pitched roof clad in natural slate.

The structure's smooth-rendered walls and painted plinth are designed to match the main clubhouse, creating a cohesive aesthetic across the club’s facilities.

With aluminium windows on each side and a door on the north-east elevation, the starter hut will harmonise with the clubhouse’s style, integrating seamlessly into its surroundings within the existing car park.

Designed to blend sympathetically with the site and surrounding landscape, the hut will provide ample space for course operations while maintaining Portstewart Golf Club’s traditional charm.
