Thousands Enjoy Two-Day Spring Fair in Ballymoney
Apr 13, 2025
Ballymoney came alive on April 11th and 12th, 2025, as the town welcomed thousands to its annual Spring Fair — a vibrant weekend filled with fun, food, and entertainment that marked its eighth and most successful year to date.
Festivities kicked off on Friday in Castlecroft Square with an afternoon of live music and great craic. Ireland’s answer to Garth Brooks, Jason Hughes, took to the stage with special guests, delighting the crowds with a lively set of country favourites.
The energy continued into Saturday with more show-stopping performances. Local favourite Sarah Carson and the sensational Cherith McCook wowed audiences with their powerful vocals and commanding stage presence, creating a fantastic atmosphere in the heart of town.
The Kelly Neill Dance Company added an extra spark to the day with captivating performances, drawing an enthusiastic crowd and showcasing some of the region’s brightest young talent.
Across both days North Coast and Glens delivered the Ballymoney Country Market which offered a wide selection of goods, treats, and gifts. Ballymoney’s independent shops joined in the celebration too, with special promotions and offers throughout the weekend.
Deputy Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Tanya Stirling, praised the event’s success, saying:
“The Ballymoney Spring Fair is a shining example of what makes our community so special. Seeing so many people coming together to celebrate local talent, culture, and creativity is fantastic. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s fair a vibrant and memorable occasion.”
