'Visit Causeway Coast and Glens' Team Recognised Despite Missing Out on NI Social Media Awards

The Visit Causeway Coast & Glens Destination Tourism marketing team were recognised with nominations in two categories at this year's Northern Ireland Social Media Awards.

The team was shortlisted for ‘Best Campaign in Hospitality/Tourism’ and ‘Best Use of Social Media in Tourism’, highlighting their efforts in promoting the region.

Mark and Shannen, representing Visit Causeway Coast & Glens, attended the awards ceremony at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Saturday, 5th October.

Although they did not receive any awards, the team expressed their delight at being shortlisted. 

"The Northern Ireland Social Media Awards are operated as a private business entity and do not hold official recognition as a governing body or regulatory authority within the industry. They are independently run, and while they celebrate achievements in social media, they are not formally accredited by any professional or governmental organisation in Northern Ireland."
