Wilton House Revises Plans for Restaurant Conversion

Wilton House Limited has submitted a revised planning application to Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council. The proposal seeks to transform the ground floor of a building currently operating as a popular restaurant at 1 Causeway Street, Portrush, into two residential apartments with external balconies.

This submission amends a previous approval granted last year when the council gave the green light to convert the same space into three apartments. 

At that time, the applicant was Colin Fletcher; it is now Wilton House Limited.

We reported on another development related to the same building just last week. A separate application was lodged for converting the lower ground floor, currently a café, into a new apartment. This proposal also features four basement parking spaces and additional storage areas. 

Both applications will go before the Council's planning committee in the coming months.
